Finally the wait is over and it has been officially confirmed by Rajiv Bajaj that Pulsar 375 will be launched in 2014. He made this announcement recently at a launch event. It is expected that Pulsar 375 will also have ‘NS’ suffix and will be a naked bike. It is expected to feature a 375cc liquid-cooled engine with triple spark technology. No official announcement has been made about the technical specifications of the bike. It is expected that Pulsar 375NS will generate maximum power of around 36 bhp with maximum torque of around 31 nm. The expected price tag of Pulsar 375NS is Rs. 1.75 lakhs.The new Bajaj Pulsar 375 cc bike will have re-worked version of 375cc single cylinder motor that will also power KTM Duke 390. The new engine will use fuel injection system than a carburetor and will feature Triple spark plug layout that was first introduced on Bajaj Pulsar 200NS.

Talking particularly about Bajaj Pulsar 375 specifications, the new Bajaj Pulsar will use single-cylinder engine that will give the peak power of 40BHP and maximum torque of 30Nm. The excellent kerb weight of 165kgs ensures you reach 100kmph mark in less than 7 seconds and you drive in extremely smooth manner. With this powerful motor, rider will get Bajaj pulsar 375 top speed of 180kmph, making it one of the fastest Indian motorbikes.It may be noted that Indian market saw Bajaj Pulsar 200NS in the starting of the year, just soon after we saw KTM Duke in the market. It won’t be wrong to say that KTM link proved quite beneficial for Bajaj that somehow managed to develop the new generation pulsar. The news on Bajaj Pulsar 375cc confirms that KTM Duke 390 is the spawned out version of Bajaj Pulsar 375.
