The Tata Prima review reveals that the car is expected to be made available with a 1.6L or 1.8L petrol engine. The engine power and torque as well as acceleration figures will be dependent on powertrain type as well as the technology employed. Information about this is not available from the company sources.
The car is a five seater and as per the company officials it will be longer than the Tata Indigo and it has a wheel base of 2700mm. The car is also expected to get standard brake system and the brakes will be efficient and completely responsive. The car is expected to have McPherson strut along with stabiliser as front suspension and the rear will have four link coil spring.
