Hyundai HND-9 Concept Features And Specifications:
Standing 4695mm long, 1890mm wide, 1340mm high and sitting on a
2860mm wheelbase, the Hyundai HND-9 concept is 65mm longer, 26mm wider
and 44mm lower than the current Genesis Coupe, as well as 41mm longer
between the wheels. While the front-hinged butterfly doors and 22-inch
alloy wheels are merely conceptual, the slicing headlights, dominant
hexagonal grille, long flowing bonnet, muscular rear haunches and
piercing LED tail-lights are expected to heavily influence the design of
the production model. The futuristic, strongly sculpted cabin will also
be toned down before it reaches showrooms, but it set to retain the
concept’s emphases on luxury, high technology and driver engagement.
Powering the Hyundai HND-9 concept is a 270kW 3.3-litre turbocharged
direct-injection V6 petrol engine – up 13kW over the current Genesis
Coupe’s 3.8-litre V6. The powerplant is teamed with an eight-speed
automatic transmission that sends drive to the rear wheels.
