Volvo S60 is a luxury sedan belonging to the D segment of deluxe cars. The Swedish car company, Volvo, says that S60 sedan is a silent roar. The tradition of launching chic cars was started only after launching Volvo XC60 SUV whose looks are definitely to die for. This was continued by S60 also which has a fashionable look. Volvo S60 comes in 2 diesel variants, Volvo S60 D5 and Volvo S60 D3. The later is the base variant which was launched in Feb 2012. The engines have 5 cylinders and a turbodiesel motor. The Volvo S60 D5 has a displacement 2400 cc and churns out 205 hp of maximum power at 4000 rpm while it churns out 420 Nm of peak torque at 1500- 3250 rpm. The new Volvo S60 D3 is packed with a 1984 cc diesel engine producing 163 hp of power and 400 Nm of torque at 1400 rpm.
