The Godzilla among Japanese supercars, the Nissan GT-R needs no introduction. The iconic Nissan GT-R is one of the most acclaimed supercars in automotive history and Nissan has unveiled the latest and fastest GT-R, the 2012 model, which will go on sale worldwide in the first quarter of 2012.
The first version which was showcased back in 2007 at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show delivered a total of 473 HP and the latest addition, the 2012 Nissan GT-R delivers an output of 542 HP, a 12 HP improvement over the current model. Along with the improved engine output of 550 PS (542-hp) and 632 Nm (466 lb-ft), Nissan also claims improved efficiency and an enhanced transmission “feel” thanks to a new shift fork arm, a firmer flywheel housing bearing and a new differential oil.
