Following the launch of the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport a few days back, Mitsubishi has quietly slipped in a 7 seater version of the Outlander at a price of Rs 19.95 lakh. The all new 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander has also made its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month but it will be a long wait before the new 2013 Outlander makes it to Indian shores Changes to the seating arrangement is practically the addition of a thin jump seat at the back to accommodate two extra passengers. This jump seat can be folded when the need for extra cargo space arises. However, being jump seats, rear leg space is pretty much cramped when it comes to the third passenger row.
Apart from the seating changes, the new Mitsubishi Outlander 7 seater will share pretty much the same spec sheet with the 5 seater model. Powering the Outlander is an all-alloy twin-cam 4-cylinder in-line 2.4-litre engine petrol motor that produces 167bhp of power and a max of 23kgm of torque. Coupled with a 6-speed CVT box, the Outlander can touch 0-100 in under 10secs and reaches a top speed of 190kph.
