Hero MotoCorp has unveiled a new variant of its popular commuter, the relatively stylish Passion Pro. The tank has forward extensions like the Pulsar 200, which serve to give it a more muscular look, although the basic tank shape remains the same. The rest of the motorcycle’s looks remain faithful to the old one, except for the new graphics.Among the technical advances, it offers a 110cc engine with 8.7PS, a significant gain over the old Passion. It also offers a new ignition system, termed ‘APDV’, a viscous paper filter element, tubeless tyres and a maintenance-free battery. A front disc brake is an option, but the electric start is standard. The instrument console is a combination digital-electric affair.
