Ford B-Max is a 5 seater Multi Purpose vehicle that is readying to shed its glory in the Geneva Motors Show. This particular five door MPV is touted to be one of the candidates that might sail to Indian shores in future. Presently, the MPV is notch longer than 4 mts (4.04 m). However, if it makes to Indian market, Ford will definitely consider shortening it so as to save tax on long cars in India. The styling of the B-Max comes from Ford’s kinetic design theme and the B-pillars are missing between the doors are the major attraction of the MPV, giving a panoramic view from inside the car. Moreover, it features rear sliding doors. It is believed that the glass will be shatter resistant and extra tough in case of an accident. Head-designer Stefan Lamm declared at the unveiling of the car that Ford is confident the B-Max will achieve a full five star rating at the Euro NCAP crash testing. The new MPV will have the new 1.0 liter, three-cylinder SCTi engine belonging to the Ford’s EcoBoost family. The engine can belt out 118 bhp of power.
