The Audi Q1 is a proposed compact crossover from the German automaker based on the A1 city car for 2012. Rumors suggest that the Q1 will be the third model in the A1 line up after the hatchback and cabriolet version with its Volkswagen Polo underpinnings. Under the hood Audi will make use of a variety of power plants ranging from the 1.4 Liter TFSI four cylinder making anywhere from 125 HP all the way up to 150 HP with the top of the line model being a 200 HP version. Diesel will also play a strong role in the Q1’s future with a 1.2 Liter TDI cranking out 80 HP and a 1.6 Liter motor with outputs ranging from 100 to 120 HP.
