Volkswagen CrossBlue Concept 

 Eye automotive company Volkswagen's Detroit Auto Show shown an new six-seat crossover CrossBlue which 100 km will spend just 2.1 liters of fuel.

Serial version of the car will be offered in the U.S. and Canadian markets, where German crossover will have to compete with the Ford Explorer. CrossBlue based on the new MQB modular platform, has seen three rows and six individual seats. The following dimensions: length 4986 mm, width 2014 mm and height - 1732 mm. Thus Crossblue are respectively 191, 74 and 23 millimeters higher than the current flagship for the VW Touareg.

The prototype built hibrīdiekārta, which combines a powerful 190 hp and two diesel engines, with 54 PS (at front axle) and 114 hp (at the rear axle) capacity complete with six-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. CrossBlue total capacity of 306 hp, while torque - up to 700 Nm. From zero to 100 km / h, it accelerates in 7.5 seconds and can reach a maximum of 204 km / h.
Power supplies can be restored to the house connecting to the mains. Using Hybrid modes, the car's average fuel consumption is 2.1 liters per 100 km. 33 kilometers, it can be electric mode, without a loss of fuel per gram, while the battery emptied Crossblue driven by diesel fuel per 100 kilometers spending on average 4.9 liters.
